McDowell, Dillon, Mars and Jackson Headline Dirt Nationâ„¢ Live

Hampton, VA — The Dirt Nationâ„¢ Live presented by Lucas Oil radio show on Monday evening November 19th will present a plethora of special guests from the world of dirt track racing across the country. Dirt Nation™ Live will spotlight dirt late model star Dale McDowell of Chickamauga, GA. ‘Macdaddy’ will join the show to talk about his 2007 season and his Dirt Strategy Seminar presented by Joe Gibbs Driven Racing Oil that will be held December 14 – 15, 2007 at the Joe Gibbs Racing Shops in Huntersville, NC. Once a touring World of Outlaws Late Model competitor, McDowell is now head of Driver Development at Richard Childress Racing. McDowell has been doing a bit of racing himself, and winning, as he mentors Austin Dillon. Dirt Nation™ Live will also spotlight dirt late model driver and “Teenage Titan” Austin Dillon of Welcome, NC. Dillon, the 17 year old grandson of NASCAR team owner Richard Childress and the son of former Busch Series competitor Mike Dillon, has been under the tutelage of Dale McDowell. Dillon has seen success quick with several wins in 2007. Dillon drives the DMR Racing owned; RaceTek powered Rocket #3 sponsored by No Fear, J&B Foods, Team Realtree and Snap On.

Making a return visit to Dirt Nation™ Live will be dirt late model driver Jimmy Mars of Menomonie, WI. Mars has been on a hot streak with wins at the $30,000 to win Jambalaya 100 at Pike County and the Duel in the Desert at The Dirt Track at Las Vegas. Mars also took home victory this year in the $46,000 to win Topless 100. The ‘Iceman’ will join the show to talk about his 2007 season and what might be in store for 2008.
